So I recently purchased what would be considered the holy grail of my collection, the Hot Toys 1/6 scale Tumbler from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. The figure has been out of production for some time and very rare to find at the price I had, however I am happy to say my search for the best Batmobile collectible has ended.
With that, I had to cancel some of the pre-orders I had placed as it would not be responsible of me to continue spending even more money on toys. Those who ended up not making the cut were Sideshow Collectibles new Darth Vader 1/6 scale figure and ThreeA Toys’ Halo Reach A-239 Emile Spartan III.
I’m currently awaiting my 1/6 scale Sideshow Collectibles General Grievous figure, as well as the 1/60 scale YF-19 release from the newly branded Arcadia. I’ve been considering pre-ordering the 1/100 MSN-04 Sazabi Ver. Ka seeing as Nu went pretty fast upon it’s initial release (I still haven’t finished building my Sinanju, so I’m hesitant).
My next toy buy will more than likely be the Jim Lee designed Justice League Batman figure, which is still pretty easy to come by, and the Elseworld’s Red Son (Dave Johnson) and Gotham by Gaslight (Mike Mignola) Batman figures (I have this figure already, however the box was ruined and I had to take him out).
Some things I’m looking forward to are the release of the Greg Capullo “Grumpy” Batman figure next year, and I am most definitely on the lookout for the original Batman Inc. Batman and Damian figures.
